Angle Line

Premium L-shaped structural steel profiles for construction, framing, and reinforcement applications

Stainless Steel Angles for Structural Applications

Pelican Metal Craft supplies certified stainless steel angles in Grade 304 and 316L for fabricators, contractors, and industrial manufacturers requiring corrosion-resistant structural support, equipment framing, and architectural reinforcement throughout Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

Stainless steel angles provide essential structural components for equipment stands, framework assemblies, support brackets, and architectural applications where strength, durability, and corrosion resistance are non-negotiable requirements. Our angle inventory maintains precise dimensional tolerances, consistent material properties, and full certification documentation supporting quality management systems and project specifications.

Stainless Steel Angle Profile

Material Grades

Grade 304 - General Purpose Structural

The standard specification for most structural applications in non-corrosive environments. Grade 304 austenitic stainless steel (18% chromium, 8% nickel) provides:

  • Excellent corrosion resistance for interior applications
  • Good formability and weldability
  • Cost-effective performance for general structural use
  • Non-magnetic properties (may become slightly magnetic after cold working)

Typical Applications:

  • Interior equipment frameworks
  • Machine guards and safety enclosures
  • Support brackets and reinforcement
  • Food processing equipment structures (non-product contact)
  • General fabrication projects

Grade 316L - Enhanced Corrosion Protection

Molybdenum-enhanced grade (2-3% Mo) providing superior resistance to chloride attack, pitting corrosion, and crevice corrosion. Essential for:

  • Coastal installations (Mombasa, marine environments)
  • Food processing areas exposed to acidic washdown
  • Pharmaceutical facility structures
  • Outdoor applications in industrial environments
  • Applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance

The "L" Advantage: The "L" designation (low carbon, <0.03% C) prevents sensitization during welding, maintaining corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. Always specify 316L for welded structural applications.
